Mission Statement

The UCLA Ahmanson-Lovelace Brain Mapping Center is committed to facilitating the development and growth of the field of Brain Mapping, a sub-discipline of neuroscience which uses brain imaging to better understand the structure and function of the human brain in health and alterations associated with disease. Through these efforts, society will benefit from a better understanding of human behavior and people living with neurological disease will have better opportunities for safer and more effective treatments and, ultimately, cures.
